Crate & Barrel Fall 2006 Catalog

The Fall 2006 Crate & Barrel catalogs are now out.  I was a little surprised at the color themes shown in the catalog.  Lots of teals and browns, which were popular over the summer.  Those colors certainly give rooms a modern feel, which is more classic and not seasonal.  I’m always careful about that when decorating.  Although I love Fall colors (orange, brown, red) they can look tired in the Spring and Summer seasons. 

I am always impressed with Crate & Barrel’s products for storage.  They are often multifunctional.  On page 25 there are Southport Storage Cubes, which would be great to hold magazines, blankets, etc.  Then if needed they could be seating when entertaining a large group of people.

If you are looking for classic, spa-like items for your bathroom refer to pages 68 and 69.  There is a nice basic shower curtain and matching accessories to create a very simple and beautiful bathroom.
