Fall Basics

I always find that a good place for clothing basics is J.Crew. I’ve always like their jeans, t-shirts, sweaters and blazers. My favorite winter peacoat is also from J.Crew shich I love. They often give you the ability to choose the level of warmth for your coats, which is awesome.

In the newest catalog their vintage and five-pocket cord pants look so great. I love the fun colors too, which always seem to work with cord pants. They also have beautiful cashmere sweaters that are nice and thin. I like that for layering.

The best thing about J.Crew is that you can get work suits with skirts, jackets and pants and you can get them in petite, regular or tall sizes. This is also applicable to jeans and chinos.

Check out page 48 of the catalog for their perfect tees. They come in round neck, v-neck, long sleeve and short sleeve. These are always nice and soft and last after lots of washings.

The mens clothes are also great. My husband likes their t-shirts and he has a suede coat from them that he loves.
